This was my fourth time booking with Lakes Cottage Holidays, and they're consistently good. I usually go for their cottages with gardens since we bring our dog. This time, we stayed in an Ambleside cottage, and it was just as reliable as previous bookings. The booking process never changes, which is nice – very straightforward. Decent value, few snags

We booked a family friendly rental in Keswick for the half-term. The price was competitive, especially with a short break deal we found. The cottage was mostly as expected, a traditional stone cottage with enough space for us all. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials. My only real gripe was that the heating took a while to kick in properly on the first evening, which was a bit chilly. Also, parking was a little tight, though manageable. Delivery of information was timely. Overall, it was a solid choice for the price, but a quicker heating system would have made it perfect.

Fantastic luxury stay!

Oh my goodness, our luxury lodge with a hot tub was absolutely incredible! It was even better than the pictures online. Everything was so clean and comfy. The views were stunning, and that hot tub was a dream after a day of walking. I loved every minute of our stay! I am already planning my next trip with them. So happy with this holiday!
